Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Canadians want politicians to work together to serve them, to build a better future and keep them safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. He made these comments at the end of a two-and-a-half day cabinet retreat. Trudeau says he doesn’t want an election, and he says Canadians don’t want one either. Parliament returns next Wednesday with a throne speech that Trudeau promises will set out a path for getting Canadians through and beyond COVID-19.
