The 23rd annual Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock ride came through Campbell River and the Comox Valley on Thursday.
9 alumni riders from across the region rode approximately 85 kilometres, making around 20 stops at various sponsors, supporters and schools.
The ride was very different than the usual due to COVID-19, with only a fraction of the regular support crew and Canadian Cancer Society members along for the journey.
The ride normally raises around $1.2 million dollars each year for pediatric cancer research and sending kids with cancer to Camp Goodtimes.
The goal this year is $600,000.
