On October 5th, 2020, shortly before 8 am, Campbell River RCMP was made aware of a theft of a John Deere 26G mini excavator from Brandt Tractor on 14th Avenue.
The excavator was caught on surveillance being ridden by two males eastbound on 14th Avenue and then onto Spruce St. where it was loaded on a trailer believed to have been stolen from a nearby business.
Police are looking to locate:
- A John Deere Mini Excavator Model 26 G Serial # 1FF026GXTJK264125
- a 2006 express utility trailer BC license plate UFV 78R
