The Insurance Corporation of B-C is issuing its annual reminder urging drivers to take it easy on the roads over the holiday break. A release from the corporation shows that, on average, 460 people are injured and five are killed in crashes every year between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day. Drivers are urged to slow down, avoid distractions while behind the wheel and take frequent breaks on long trips.
