B-C Premier John Horgan is in Washington today, where he’ll meet with trade officials to discuss the softwood lumber dispute between Canada and the U-S.
Horgan will meet with several of the Trump administration’s top representatives, including the commerce and trade secretaries.
Wilbur Ross is a billionaire banker known as a fierce trade opponent, while Robert Lighthizer is the administration’s point person on upcoming NAFTA talks.
The premier will also meet with Canada’s Ambassador to the U-S, as well as B-C’s special trade envoy.
