Prime Minister Justin Trudeau travels to Washington onTuesday to shore up Canada’s position ahead of the resumption of NAFTA talks. He’ll meet with U-S President Donald Trump and congressional lawmakers. He’ll also attend a dinner celebrating female entrepreneurs. After the Washington trip, he’ll head to Mexico for his first official visit to that country. He’s expected to honour the victims of recent earthquakes, and receive a firsthand account of the rebuilding efforts.
