Courtenay Canada Day Celebrations 2026

Courtenay’s Canada Day Celebrations continue on Wednesday, July 1, with a full day of free community events.
Join them for the parade, live music, cultural programming, cake cutting, family activities, food, vendors and community celebration.
Event highlights:
• 9 a.m. — Comox Valley Concert Band at Randy Wiwchar Plaza
• 9:30 a.m. — 5th Street Mile fun run
• 10 a.m. — Canada Day parade down 5th Street
• 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. — Family activities
• 11 a.m. to noon — Musical performance by Easy Street
• noon — Opening ceremony and singing of O Canada
• 12:30 p.m. — Cake cutting
• 1–3 p.m. — Musical performance by J. Plank
• 3 p.m. — Children’s bike draw
