The Salvation Army’s annual Christmas Kettle campaign is underway. Brent Hobden says the agency has targeted raising $132-thousand in the Comox Valley this year. “Every year at this time I’m always a little nervous, but every year the Comox Valley steps up to the plate and we always reach our goals,” states Hobden. He says the agency is looking to fill about 3,500 hrs on the Christmas Kettles this season and are looking for volunteers to fill those positions. All funds raised will go to support programs run by the Salvation Army.
