Parts of northern B-C and Alberta will be under a special avalanche warning until Monday night. Avalanche Canada says the recent warm weather has made the snowpack unstable and created a very dangerous situation for backcountry users. The warning covers the north Rockies, the northern section of the Cariboos and the north Columbia region. All those using the recreational backcountry areas are urged to carry an avalanche transceiver, a probe and a shovel
