A poll done by Insights West found that most people believe that B-C’s economy is doing well but expect to pay more for some items. Pollster Mario Canseco says 61 per cent of those polled describe the economy as “very good” or “good” — up 15 per cent from a similar survey done last year. He says more than 80 per cent of those surveyed expect the cost of groceries and gasoline to rise this year. More than half of those surveyed also expect higher prices for real estate.
