Canadians Satisfied With Eliminating The Penny

A poll done by Insights West indicates that most Canadians are pleased that Ottawa got rid of the one-cent coin four years ago. Pollster Mario Canseco says 73 per cent of those surveyed agree with taking the penny out of circulation. Canseco says the survey also found that few Canadians favour eliminating the nickle and having the dime as the lowest currency.
