A consumer advocate is speaking out after U-2 fans were faced with massive delays while trying to get into a concert at B-C Place. Bruce Cran of the Consumers’ Association of Canada says the situation on Friday night was totally unacceptable and there should be some sort of protection from federal or provincial regulators. Cran says fans who didn’t get to see openers Mumford and Sons but still managed to see U-2 can’t ask for their money back unless they can prove services promised were not delivered. He suggests those who paid by credit card complain to their banks, and says a class action lawsuit is possible if enough people join together.
