N-D-P leader John Horgan is getting impatient. Speaking at a campaign-style town hall event at S-F-U’s Surrey campus, he accused the minority B-C Liberals of stalling in order to avoid a confidence vote they will most likely lose. He says the United Kingdom had their election a month after B-C’s, and yet managed to reconvene parliament well before B-C’s M-L-As can return to the legislature. The legislature gathers for the first time since the May 9th election on Thursday, and the New Democrat-Green alliance representing 44 seats in the house is expected to vote down the incumbent 43-strong B-C Liberal caucus at the first possible chance.
