BC Wildfires-Smoke

/ 97.3 The Eagle
B-C’s deputy provincial health officer is urging people use caution amid very smoky conditions in much of the province. Doctor Bonnie Henry says those with chronic conditions need to have their medication handy, should avoid physical exertion and should stay indoors. Environment Canada has issued special air quality statements for much of the province from the Peace River to the Canada-U-S border, excluding coastal and northern B-C. The smoky skies bulletin says smoke from the wildfires is expected to occur in concentrations that may reach levels that are a concern for human health.
