Another 225 members of the Canadian Armed Forces are being sent to B-C to help fight the fast-moving wildfires that have driven more than 45-thousand people from their homes. Public Safety Minister Mike Farnworth says the soldiers will help with road checks at key points in the Interior, which will free up police for other duties. The additional military members on their way to Williams Lake will join 150 who are already in the area, bringing to 375 the total number of military personnel supporting emergency management efforts.
