Insurance Corporation of B-C is warning drivers to travel safely during the B-C Day long weekend. I-C-B-C says more than 24-hundred crashes are expected to occur over the long weekend, that on average has seen five people killed and 600 others injured. It says over 500 crashes typically involve large trucks throughout the summer while 370 crashes involve R-Vs. The insurance corporation is reminding drivers to keep their distance from large vehicles, leave space to break suddenly and be patient driving around large vehicles that are slower in climbing hills.
