More Wildfires

Ongoing hot, dry conditions in B-C has seen another 28 wildfires sparked over Monday and Tuesday, bringing the total number of blazes burning across the province to 146. There is no significant rain in the forecast to douse the fires, or provide moisture to the tinder-dry landscape. Officials say inflow winds from the ocean are expected to roll in by Friday, which could help clear the smoke but could also fan the flames.
