B-C Utilities Commission says it does not have enough information in several areas to recommend whether the 8.8-billion-dollar Site-C dam project should proceed. The commission released its preliminary report last night, stating it needs more data on Site-C before it can make a final recommendation. The panel says B-C Hydro has not provided enough data to determine whether the project is currently on budget. It also said it does not have sufficient information to predict possible budget overruns once the project is complete
