Sears Canada Liquidation

/ 97.3 The Eagle
Sears Canada says it’s giving up on the idea of remaining in business. The retail chain sought creditor protection in June after announcing widespread job cuts and store closures. It says it’s failed to find a buyer that would allow it to remain a going concern. That means the company’s remaining stores will close, and another 12-thousand employees across the country will be out of work.
