              Local governments across B-C are creating wish lists for what they want to see in the province’s upcoming rules for recreational pot. Ottawa has set July 1st as a deadline to legalize marijuana, and the B-C government is accepting public input on the rules until November 1st. One Vancouver city councillor says he’d like to see pot sold in independent stores — a model he says has worked well in that city. Meantime, the mayor of Delta says she’s concerned about prime farmland being used to grow cannabis instead of food.
