Bear Attack

/ 97.3 The Eagle
Two people have been injured by a black bear that broke into a home in Mission. Murray Smith with the provincial Conservation Officers Service says a woman opened her back door late Saturday night and was met by a black bear that knocked her down, before biting and scratching her. Later, a conservation officer who responded to the call was also attacked by the animal, which bit her leg. Smith says both women were treated for minor injuries, and the bear and her two cubs were destroyed.
