Premier John Horgan has announced a review of the response to the unprecedented floods and wildfires that devastated the province this year. Horgan says the review will examine all aspects of how B-C handled the natural disasters and identify any changes that are needed. It will be led by former B-C Liberal cabinet minister George Abbott and Maureen Chapman, hereditary chief of the Skawahlook First Nation. They are to issue their report by April 30th in time to make changes for next year’s spring flood and wildfire seasons.
