B-C government says residents will have to be at least 19 years old to use marijuana once it become legal next summer. The province has unveiled new details about how it intends to regulate recreational cannabis, which includes putting the liquor distribution branch in charge of wholesale distribution. Solicitor General Mike Farnworth says he will announce more details early in the new year about the province’s plan for the retail side of the industry. Farnworth says the idea so far is to include both public and private vendors.
