B-C’s environment minister says he’s not worrying about Alberta politics after the latest threats over the Trans Mountain pipeline dispute. Premier Rachel Notely said ahead of her government’s throne speech that says she’s considering turning off the oil taps to B-C if efforts to block the pipeline expansion continue. But Environment Minister George Heyman says he doesn’t spend his time wondering what Alberta will include in its throne speech and instead is focused on making life better in B-C. He says despite Notley’s comments B-C remains determined to defend its environment, economy and coast line.
