After four days of silence about a global privacy scandal, Facebook C-E-O Mark Zuckerberg is apologizing for what he calls a “major breach of trust.” In a C-N-N interview last night, Zuckerberg said his company should have done more after discovering in 2015 that data-mining firm Cambridge Analytica had gained access to users’ data. The Trump campaign paid Cambridge six-million dollars during the 2016 election. Zuckerberg said Facebook has a “responsibility” to protect its users’ information, adding he believes it’s time to impose more regulations on all tech companies.
